New high-amperage connector body increases usable rack space for OCP deployments and is available for pre-order today

HENDERSON, N.C. (October 13, 2026) - StayOnline, a leading manufacturer and distributor of power cords, today announced a partnership with Positronic for the global distribution of a hand-terminated OCP 60/63A HPR ORv3 connector body backshell.1 Following a collaborative design effort, the backshell assembly is available to be included in the design of a custom power cord or for purchase as an individual component on StayOnline’s website.

Most OCP installations rely on two 30A ORv3 AC inputs to support the rack power shelf. That configuration consumes valuable rack space and may limit an operator’s power density per rack. The 60A ORv3 connector, along with the corresponding power shelves, solves the problem and allows more power per rack with fewer total input cords. At 110 mm, it is considerably larger than its 30A counterpart but otherwise retains the familiar seven-pin ORv3 design.
